CRYSTAL proudly presents our Fall exhibition, to which Lina Bjerneld invited Cecilia Edefalk to a joint presentation. Their mutual approach to artistic practice lies primarily in the attitude to the aesthetic language and the image, they both look for an expression with cracks that invites the viewer into the work.

Bjerneld and Edefalk both treat the history of art and their relation to it, and they create their own narrativity. Cecilia Edefalk through repetitions, emphasizing a subject via subtle changes. Lina Bjerneld creates an ongoing shattered story where motifs and spaces reappear in new expressions and contexts until they are gradually dissolved.
